This is certainly good, but I'd like to hear more about the problems and weaknesses.

Thank you.

Svey,

The Andoria engine has proved to be tough and reliable in many races.
The Nissan Patrol is only a nice commercial off-road.
It depends, if we want an original or a comum vehicle...

Because of height restrictions had to remove the boot. Anyway, it'll be upgraded. I took out the rear window. Big brew and hang at this place Sand-tracks
Image
Instead of small size will turn signals stop signals.

Instead, staff plan to make additional openings for hatches of tanks.

Additional tanks want to hang on each side along the frame.
Image
Image
Where to do with the muffler is not yet know, but I definitely want to outweigh its left to the right side
Image
There are ideas about pneumatic cylinders on the rear. It is not yet decided
Image
By about the condition: yet decided not to change anything, and set 31 MT. Lightly will clip the wings. That's it! But then when you are experience - I will look in the direction 33. Then already, and I will split hairs with shock absorbers, spacers, the main pair, and so on
Image
Skinned cladding, removed the rubber carpets. It turned out that the entire floor and roof. Already well!

Under the rear left seat passengers settle a container of drinking water. Middle - compressor with hose
Image
Right - tank webasto
Image
Under the navigator's seat - 2 Batteries
Image
Well, a fifth point of the driver will be, as it should - heated ;D
Image
Now I have to remove the bumper taken over full-time to replace it with a force, but not very hard to place for removable winch
Image
The rear bumper has cleared. In the new will hang two reserve. He, too, will cling to the winch if necessary
Tomorrow / next day I want to remove the wings. They will have to tinker
Image
Image

Well, then I will invite an electrician and welder :D

The motor, as already mentioned above, in principle, to work and the defense is ready

In December, bought in St. Petersburg on the Russian tractor monocyclone

Friends, I am very hard to focus on your forum, flow I do not know Romanian. If you have photos of cars produced, please share them here. Does anyone have already installed 33 or 35 wheels? What changes should I do?

I ask because I want to travel there:

There are some things you need to consider if you want to use tires bigger than 31", and this is important if you want to build a reliable vehicle to go that far away from home and in extreme conditions, were failure should not be an option.

Most important: the front axle suspension: you have the "new" model of ball-joints wich are known to be te most unreliable, and the whole asembly will fail if you use bigger tires with negative ET wheels or wheel spacers. Not to mention the steering rods and joints
Watch this video from the min. 5:50 and observe the front wheel carefully ;D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGqQQF3SfIM This will happen after some km of hard offroad. That Aro has now a live axle instead of the original front suspension, and it's performing much better, you can see the pictures here : http://www.aro4x4.net/smf/viewtopic.php ... &start=210

So, if you want to consider 33 or 35" tires, you will need to re-think the 'front suspension problem"... look at this solution http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alHlNpMl ... re=related

Hi Svey!
All right said Tudop.
Did not exceed more than 31', even is best to limit 30'. Otherwise, the hub bearings (and some suspension parts) are a consumable item. High and wide tires are not for long expeditions. You "build" a runner for long distances, and not a sprinter for the dirt and rocktrial.
Pay more attention to choose the "right tire", the most universal.
Regarding the size of the rims:
no need to get involved in very negative offset.
According to my observations, optimal, for size of 30-31' it 15x7 ET not more -7 -12.
Do not forget about the deterioration of control on of big tyres and big the rims offset.

Thank you! Yes, the big wheels do not add to the car's health. Replacing the front suspension on the bridge would be expensive. :( I do not want a very wide wheels and a large protrusion. I want to achieve more ground clearance.
