Re: PARTS COMPATIBILITY FOR ARO10 Please help
i found this viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7233&start=270
i guess its some form of additional water heating and i was right
i goggled the model number.. and i got this linkhttp://www.esparofmichigan.com/techsupp ... 3%20JE.pdf
As i can see this also needs electric power and fuel to heat the water but i`m also guessing this peace of equipment is quite expensive.
as i said i have problems with the heating i`m still trying to find the problem.. i`ll post some pics tomorrow.

heating is fixed.. now i have few things to fix before i can say i am done for this winter...
i have problem with the door lock.. the key cilinder is damaged and has alot of play.. i took it to a key specialist they made new key for it.. but there is still alot of play and it gets stuck when i try to turn it.. plus i broke a plastic holder for the metal lines that lead to the lever for oppening the door from inside.. now i cant open it from inside..
is there anything new that can be found that fits?
i got realy pissed of today... i hate dificult to reach nuts and fu***ng door locks.. i hate them.

Hi, you can replace the broken plastic clips from the door locks with ones from Dacia-Renault, they have some that are a perfect match for the ARO ones and you should be able to find them in stores that sell plastic clips for cars, that's where I bought mine from. Good luck with your door lock problems.

You cannot change the door looks with ones from other cars, these parts are specific to ARO 10 only. However I think you can replace the inner key barrel of the door lock with a Renault one or Dacia 1300/1310, but you may still have play in the barrel after that. The most similar door locks with the ones from ARO 10 are Oltcit/Citroen Axel and Dacia Nova/SuperNova/Solenza but the button from the exterior of the door will have to kept.

Install alarm system with central lock. Disconnect rod from the key lock to lock mechanism and don't remembering more about it. Lock key - keep as decoration element. It simply!
I did so this. Long ago.

armaflex is good for termic& sound insulation, but the air with hi content in watter wapor wil stay unde the shield of armaflex - in time this will couse the body to rust severely.
For best conditions to stop rus forming inside the car, if the old paint is in good condition remove the flor insulation end . i recomend to stick bitum compound with aluminium/stanium shet ,after theat you chan instal eny termic fonic insulation you want.

The bitum pack are used in ruff watter insulation, in store is found in 10cm to 50cm wide roler
It,s your car , do as you please.

Re: PARTS COMPATIBILITY FOR ARO10 Please help
Sorin,
the floor is in good condition, i have removed the rust and left the original bitumen(or whatever its called).
Under the front seats i still haven`t put isolation except some thin foil and styrofoam. what is the main purpose for this material, how can i find it to use it under the front seats?..

the thin bitum leyer sticks to the old paint end no remaining air pokets remains betwin the flor end bitum leyer,no watter -air pochets no rust0- -Water condenses in air gaps between the floor and old insulation(too hard & end not adapting to the forms of the floor, , rust's forms on the flor , in special in front were the florr is bondig with the weel arch
Wett air sit's under the insulation rust slowly eat's the body down(watter forms becouse of the worming end rapid cooling _again end again over time)
Watch the picture-wer is color blue ,air pochet's under the insulation.
