This summer I decided to remove the roof of my Portaro (The Celta is one of the few models with removable roof) to repair and paint the fiber.

As the rubbers of the roof glasses are worn, I thought to replace them. Damn, what have I done!!... :-[
I'm looking for the rubbers almost 3 months ago, and I can't find them...

It's not a Portaro, but it's a ARO 10, whit a platform build in Portugal.

How Interesting and rare: an Aro 10 with a wooden box similar to the Portaro 320 Campina in the city of Fornos de Algodres, in the north of Portugal... 8)

Unfortunately the company SEMAL (Sociedade Electro-Mecânica de Automóveis) who built the Portaro, decided, due to commercial reasons, to not produce in Portugal the beautiful Aro 241 and 244, four door model...

The location of the engine serial number and chassis serial number are identical to portaro

After a dark period, in the 90s, due to the end of the industrial production of Portaro, began to emerge, in the last 10 years, some restoration projects, and currently, there are many nostalgic of this legendary brand, in Portugal.

Here's another catalog provided by "Rodas de Viriato", which has been dedicated to the promotion of the portuguese Aro.

In the pictures below, we can see a Portaro 260 DL, Daihatsu GB80 engine, marketed in England under the name of "Pampas".
