Re: ARO in Siberia

Re: ARO in Siberia
Hi Dan!
Sorry me for the long silence! I was out of town...
However, You brave mans!
Give me, on e-mail or p.m., a detailed description and "schedule" of Your the expedition.
I do not plan on global departures in the spring.
I will to meet of You, and I'll try to help, which I am able.

Re: ARO in Siberia
If the traffic light was red, you're screwed...
Anyway, it's awkward, because if the Toyota crashed against the driver's side, how did the right side of the Aro get damaged ?...
Was the car dragged ?

Re: ARO in Siberia
Add a little color for the clarification.
Since more than understandable.
I hit a TOYOTA before I could stop. Distance of ~ 10 m, and at a rate of ~ 45 km / h is not enough for a full stop
...
The blow was in right wing TOYOTA and then over all her right board side, as she is moving by inertia.
TOYOTA stopped only leaning in the curb. In this way was severely damaged the right part of mask and right wing of ARO.
Тhеrе was "all" the TOYOTA.
Behind the wheel was a lady, who making the maneuver at the intersection was distracted on the child, and, did not see, that around here moving the cars!
This item: TOYOTA with "right hand drive" and highly tinted windows. The child was sitting on rear the left. The lady turned to him, not seeing that happening in right side from her
. She did not see about 50 meters of my traffic up to collision
...
During of my emergency braking she is stupidly continued to "roll" through the intersection at small speed is
...
Outcome:
for her - a fine for breaking the rules crossing the intersection ~ $ 50, car repairs at his own expense.
for me - not funny "relations" with the insurance company to obtain adequate compensation ...
My fault - underestimated and could not predict the behavior and logic of the ladies

Re: ARO in Siberia
Besides the visible damage, don't you had any more problems, in the radiator, front axle or in the steering?...
A lenda vive...!!!
