1972,sau inceputul unei noi ere.Intra in productie un model cu totul nou,dupa 6 ani de proiectare,seria 24 ARO.Primul model,240,echipat cu un nou motor pe benzina de 2500 cmc,de inspiratie Ford,asa numitul "jumatate Bucegi".Noul motor a fost denumit L25.
Deasemenea,a fost realizat un model special pentru presedintele Ceausescu,echipat cu un motor in 4 cilindri,2500 cmc de provenienta Renault.
Aceasta masina avea performante deosebite in teren,ocupand locul 2,dupa Range Rover, in urma unui test dur realizat de FORD EUROPE ,in 1972.ARO a ocupat pozitia a doua inaintea Jeep-ului Willys si a Fordului Bronco

ARO 264 este un model din perioada de trista amintire,anume Crosslander.Facut special pentru america,este defapt un 244 cu ampatament marit.Se observa usa spate mai mare,iar ca o particularitate,clantele usilor de imprumut de la Dacia Nova

Si usa fata este marita. avem unde le face,daca vrei. sau faci ce iti trece prin cap...omul are scule si cu asta se ocupa. eu mi-am facut o dunga si alte scrisuri pe acolo...dar se poate face si ala.
