Hello,

The biggest problem now is the intermediary bearing. I am trying to find similar from other car. My colleague suggested me to try with intermediary bearing from Ford Transit. I am checking also Lada, Uaz.

Can you tell me the diameter of the central hole of the intermediary bearing.

I need also a lot of other parts. I will try to crate a short list with them. But the intermediary bearing is the urgent part now.

You mean the bearing on the driveshaft to the rear axle? That bearing have the code 6006 and is very common. You can get the bearing out from the circular rubber and change it.

Yes - the bearing on the driveshaft to the rear axle. The problem is that the rubber is damaged. I remove the driveshaft and the bearing. The diameter of the driveshaft is 30mm - like the Ford Transit intermediary bearing. I will check the other dimensions tomorrow.

Hello, Ivan,

If do you still have problems getting spare parts for your ARO 10, I`ll put you in touch with some small companies from Campulung, still producing spare parts for different models of ARO. They can send you the parts by ordinar post and you pay at delivery.

If you need an extra engine, 1397 cmc, gasoline, I can give you one engine. It is complete and working, I guess. At least it was the last time I checked it up. That engine comes from a Volvo 340, built in 1987, wich I imported on its own wheels from Luxembourg. As a foreign citizen, ARO-owner, this engine is free of charge for you.
Just come and pick it up.

Happy New Year!
